今天早上五点多钟，广东南海境内的325国道九江大桥中段发生桥面倒塌事故，倒塌范围约200米，造成325国道这一路段交通堵塞。据初步调查，事故因江面突起大雾，一艘载重一千五百（1500）多吨的运沙船撞击主航道桥墩导致。运沙船上共有十人，其中两人受了轻伤。桥面有无人员伤亡有待进一步的查实。
南海九江大桥跨越西江，是广州---湛江公路上的一座特大型公路桥梁，全长一千六百八十二（1682）米，1988年建成通车。

At a time past five this morning, In the area(district) of Nanhai in Guangdong Province, a collapsing accident happened in the middle part of Jiujiang Bridge of No.325 national road. The collapsing is about 200 meter’s length and has caused a blockage at this erea in 325 national road. According to the basic investigation, the accident was due to the fog rising quickly and then a sand-laden ship, which loaded more than 1500 tons, hit a pier of the main route. There were ten people in the sand-laden ship. Among them two people injured slightly. Whether people injured or died on the bridge need to be further verified.

Jiujiang Bridge of Nanhai spanned over Xijiang River. It is a superhuge road bridge on the highway between Guangzhou and Zhanjiang. Its length is 1682 meters and it was built up and opened to traffic in 1988 .
